THE BAD
My hair (haha! so whats new?)
Let's see (warning : it gets a lil bit superficial), since the beginning of the year, I've coloured, straightened, coloured, permed and straightened it...phew!
Yes, yes i know you must be rolling your eyes at me....or going "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH U, YOU MORON!!"
Well, yes I know..i deserve it...its fried....but its getting better....
Why did i do all that shit to my hair? One word - VAIN.
Yup, I am..so there. I said it.

THE GOOD
Australia
After returning from Australia in June, life went back to normal...came to work, day in, day out...same ole same ole....
All 7 of us were invited to appear on NTV7's The Breakfast Show, in pairs/threesome!
Well, Dr. Adli & Kimmy went first, followed by Chee Wah & Effa and Alfred, Jaclyn and myself were on last.
It was a short but interesting experience...unfortunately for me, they left out my clip so, it wasn't featured during the Breakfast Show interview.

Had the mostest nicestest...char siew somewhere in Glenmarie...somewhere....i dunno what its called...sorree. But it was the best char siew i've ever had....mouthwatering...and it MELTS in ur MOUTH!!
Oh yes! Tourism Australia also had an online voting contest for the Favourite Ambassador from 15th June to 10th August. Viewers and friends could vote for their favourite Aussie Ambassador before or after watching our episodes of My Aussie Adventure.
After a hella lot of campaigning, thanks to my family and all my friends, I WON the contest (with 50,784 votes!) and scored me a return ticket to Australia!! (results announced on 15th August, only for One person, unfortunately!)

Surgery was done with very quickly and there was minimal to NO pain! Yea, I'm not joking...even when i went to remove the stitches..it was A-Okay!

We chatted thru email then on MSN, zillions of txt msgs and eventually Skype. I know there are a lot of skeptics out there...and i was one of them...
Ok, truth be told, i wasn't looking for Love or a relationship...i was just enjoying single life again....spending time with my lovies (doggies) and chilling at home.
But we definitely had chemistry...i think we both don't exactly know how we got there, but we found that we felt the same way about each other.

Not egoistic, funny, charming, boyish yet matured enough, down-to-earth, easygoing, laidback (he IS Aussie), has his head screwed on right, calm, captivating, knowledgeable, sweet, loving and SO GAWDDAMNED HOT! hahahaha!
Actually, it was his involvement in martial arts (Hapkido) that first caught my attention. Also, he's pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Environmental & Wilderness studies, which was something totally different from the norm. I like different....law, medicine, business, accounting...*yawn*.

We've had all kind of amazing conversations...he's taught me so much about life...new perspectives and he made me feel so ALIVE!! (gosh, do i sound really corny now? *cringe*)

He claims he's not perfect....but he's damn well Good Enough for me! (Nobodys perfect)
People say its early on in the relationship...and that this bliss will fade in time....or that I'd never know what he's really like till I meet him face-to-face.
But I think the foundation of our relationship is getting stronger. Yes, we may not go for movies together, walk along the beach together, have a nice dinner or see each other every other day....but we do communicate, and we do it well. Oh hey, thanks heaps SKYPE!

I can tell him anything and he'll understand, encourage and reassure me. I feel safe with him.
Even in these early days...we've had our lil disagreements...and truth be told, today itself, he did hurt my feelings, unintentionally, coupled with the fact that i'm PMSing, Gosh, i was pretty darn upset. But we talked it through and we're okay now...*no worries*
Thanks to Tourism Australia and the contest, I'm going to see him in November and I CAN'T WAIT!!!
He has forbidden me from doing anymore research on Tasmania and spoil his surprises...but I know that whatever he's got planned for us, it will be AWESOME!
