Oh no! Oh NO!!!!

When I arrived home last evening, my dad told me that I ter-left the air-conditioning on in my room and mom had kept my lil naked baby Zara in the room...the WHOLE DAY!!

He said Zara was scratching the door the whole day and he even scolded her for that..not knowing that she must have been freezing her lil butt off!!

Then at around 6ish, he opened the door to find the air-cond in full blast and she shot out of the room! Poor little baby!! Imagine her trying to find some warmth...the whole day! And she doesn't even have much or any fur either!!

Sigh! I felt horrible!! for not turning off the air-cond....but i usually leave my room door open and let them go free...but mom would keep them or just Zara in my room until I get back.

So I guess we'll all be more alert from now onwards. I'm sure I would double check my switches more and Dad would not just dismiss her whining without making sure she's ok. Mom, well....she wasn't even aware of this incident...shall let her know later...

Poor baby Zara....but she was her same frisky cheeky self when I got home anyway! Thank God! she's tuff!

Have a GOOD DAY!!
Yar..so i thought it would be a good idea to have a trim before i set off for my 2 week holiday in Tassie....

Maybe not such a good idea after all...

I mean...i had a funky..."not-very-there" hairstyle...after straightening it...yea it came out in CLUMPS (when i ran my fingers thru my wet hair after washing off the 1st rebonding cream)...as u would expect if u had, since January 08, coloured, straightened, coloured again, permed and straightened again within a span of a few months. I would have expected my hair to one fine day, pack up and leave me altogether!

But it didn't, Bless!

And i promised not to do anymore damage to my hair until it had time to heal..or grow out..and i didnt for all of 2 months! What an achievement! I even got so used to the "not-so-there" look, i hardly noticed it. I had other major life-threatening distractions....no, Seriously.

So yea, back to my new funky hairstyle...

I always dispised the layered 'helmet' look...u know the one where it looks kinda heavy on the top..until your ears or chin and then thinned-out at the bottom? Just think Jellyfish.

Ok, i nearly passed out and dieded when i saw my hair after my hairdresser was done...

All i could muster was "er...thats a bit TOO layered isnt it?" - what else can i say or do?? its over and done with!! *wails*

Sudden urge to pick up that big pile of hair from the floor and attach it back where it rightly belongs!

So i went home...with my "helmet head"....sigh....it was a very excruciating week....i looked like Edward Sissorhand's test subject!

Tip : Layers on straightened/rebonded hair...NOT SO HOT.
it just sticks out in all the wrong places.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope Zara doesn't feel too bad now...(the groomer had to shave off all her fur because her clumps/tangles were so bad, it couldn't be saved) ...she wasn't very amused AT ALL! But now her Mommy has joined her with a funky haircut too!!! - she's so manja now...sleeps on my pillow...and sometimes...ON my head. Keeps it warm i suppose.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the kind of expression i get from wellmeaning friends when i whine to them and ask them about my hair....

BUT....after that horrid week, i found a way of rectifying the "lil head problem" i was having.

My old trusty faithful hair straightener....*KISSES*

You must be thinking..."girl, ur hair is already poker straight...what are u trying to achieve?"

Flicks and curls my friend! FLICKS AND CURLS!! Works wonders for funky freaky layered hair! WHOOPIEDOOO!!!

Admittedly, i'm still experimenting and some days i have less flicks than others (when i'm lazy/in a rush, CBB -couldn't be bothered)...buttttt it works!!

Yes, its a chore...it takes about 5 mins la....no has much hair..har har har!

So please, friends...if u do plan to pop by my place unannounced...in the early morning....be warned...that.....i might not look so, as i mentioned above, HOT (actually more of the "stuck-finger-in-socket look"), first thing in the morning, OKAY....

ok...the UPSIDE is i dont hit a snag when i run my fingers thru my hair...niceeee.....

But yea...i've come to terms with my hairstyle and experimenting to glory...

Wheeee!!!

(WOW! 2 posts in a day! it must be YOUR lucky day!)
Right...after a couple of complaints of headaches and dizzy spells and magic mushrooms...partly from my own brain...about my New Template, i've decided to change it...pronto...

Coz i was swooning and reeling myself...

Ya...so this boring old serene one shall do for now..until i have time to go look for another one...heh...

ENJOY!!
Heyaa!! Ok...firstly i know you might have a lil bit of a headache trying to read my blog...coz of the new template i'm using....ok colours are a lil bit striking...but i'm working on it...

I spent 2 days looking for a nice template that would suit me....this is the only one i can find that i can manipulate hahah...

U see, i used to make my websites from scratch...old skool...HTML...even make my own graphics and buttons...yea..way back in 2000. Suffice to say, i experimented quite a bit...i think i made about 10 websites...just for fun.

I never had the patience or intelligence to learn Flash or XHTML...and i kinda grew out of it over the years...I'm a Gemini...i have short attention span..excuse me.

But now...eventhough i am too lazyarse to even blog...i found my blog layout and template a lil bit blah...so i decided to look for some nice templates to jazz it up a bit...

The only ones i could find to use on Blogger were XML templates...."What on EARTH is XML??",
yea, an old friend even told me there's some dummies tutorial on XML....gee, thanks!

I didn't have the patience anyway (again!). So i just looked at the encoding/script (watever u call it la) and tweaked it a bit..hah...voila..it worked! Ok la, so far i've only managed to widen the tables la...no biggie, but i wasn't happy with the narrow boxes ma!)

I actually wanted to use another template...but for the life of me cannot figure out how to ar...do something that i want to do with it....so...(i dun wanna explain la, coz u're not gonna get it and i'm gonna be confused anyway).

Ya, so i'll just use this for a while..until i get complaints...hahah ok i got ONE already la...from Khengs...saying that its not easy to read...ookokokok...got it...i'll just make do with this one first ok?? coz i couldn't stand looking at the old template....yuck!

Some of my widgets are gone..so i had to reinstall them...and i cant find my counter...GAH! nevermind...

Right..maybe i should do some work now....Yipes!

CIAO!!

Funny thing happened to me this afternoon.

I was walking along a row of shops after having a haircut and out of nowhere this handsome looking dog was trotting alongside me...at first i thought he was just sniffing me because I had 2 doggies scent on me...but after about 30metres, he was still following me...nudging my hand, bumping into my legs...i was worried he'd get a bit aggressive and knock me over!

A passerby even asked if that was my dog...i laughed and said..."No"
...but i really didnt mind...and loved the company.

But he looked happy following me....after a block, i thought i lost him....but he reappeared beside me while i was withdrawing cash from the ATM. Just sat right beside me, waiting...
Good thing he was...coz there were some dodgy looking guys sitting beside the ATM.

When i turned around...i saw one of the dodgy looking guys have run off and the other was standing on a higher ledge...fearful of my new-found companion! - my guess is, they're Muslims...(apparently they aren't allowed to touch dogs)...either that or they're just wimps.

Well, my Guardian Angel was beside me all the way to another bank and waited outside while I paid my credit card bill at the Cash deposit machine and never left my side all the way to my car...

when i got into my car...he just sat across the road and watched me go...i'm sure i saw a smile on his face!

Call me crazy...but i do think God sent that doggie to me right at that moment to protect me...from well, only He knows what...

Now, isn't that AMAZING?
