My Brand new Blog! My brand New Pup!

Welcome!!

I guess i must have about 3-4 blogs by now...i know, i know...i should just stick to one...
but hey, i'm a Gemini...i'm ALLOWED!! (u know how they say Gemini's are fickle and attention shifts very quickly? - TRUE BLUE!!)

Anyway, I guess i just wanted to start anew...since my life has taken a new turn...
With the change in my status quo and my new puppy! (i still love Chino to bits n pieces okay!! - Don't u dare judge me!)

Introducing...PRINCESS ZARA!


Zara : Harlooo!!


She's totally adorable!! I always wanted a light brown n white shihtzu..so when the pet shop lady called me to tell me of the new litter (and she knows what i want) i went over after work on Friday. It didnt take long for me to make up my mind!!

It took a while for me to decide on a name though. I didn't want something simple or normal...and i also want something that can be pronounced easily...
I did consider Aurelie/Aurelia or Gisele...but..i dont think many ppl can pronounce it correctly...

So now, i'm a mother of 2! doggies, that is. But they are my babies!!

Zara loves to play with Chino...she's a fearless little Kamikaze baby! Jumps off beds and sofas...rams into Chino's legs, butt, face...wherever she can...and steals his chewtoys!!

Chino was a bit apprehensive about her the first evening i brought her home...should have introduced him to her gradually...my bad. But now he's oblivious to her....sniffs n plays with her occasionally, but other than that...he leaves her alone.



Whenever she steals his chewtoys, he'd look at me with what i'd interpret to be "Mom? What am i suppose to do with her?". He's a well mannered doggie. I love him.
I pet him on the head and tell him he's a good boy for not fighting with her.
He lets her play with it till something else distracts her attention and then picks it up again.

He even lets her chew on his tail and climb all over him...although sometimes he's startled and jumps back...

Zara hates to be left alone...even for a few seconds...she cries so loudly...even when i leave her downstairs for a bit to get something...she'd stand up on the step n whine. Actually, she's very gutsy...one day, i went up for just a second...and when i came back down...she was already up a flight of stairs (about 6-7 steps!).

The way she runs after me whenever i walk is hilariously comical! U can practically hear her say "WAIT FOR MEEEEE!!!!" tumble, slip n slide! even when i walk from one end of my room to the other...she'll be hot on my heels! she even whines when i'm in the shower...n paws the cubicle door to get in...i think she has separation anxiety!
Chino just looks at her - "Sheesh kiddo...Chillax!"

She loves bellyrubs...from ANYONE! the more, the better!

They both sleep on the bed with me....and she's fallen (or rather launched herself) off the bed more than once....she cried so loudly n pitifully the first time..i think more of shock than hurt...coz she was up and about a minute later!

Chino knows we still love him coz we tell him and show him with hugs, cuddles, kisses and attention. It seems i pay more attention to Zara now, but its only because she's so tiny...i'm afraid she'll get hurt...but i show her the same love and care as i did for Chino when he first came into my life.

Zara's suppose to be Chino's girlfriend anyway! heheh!!

Oh yea...my blog...i'm trying to figure out how to link my old blogs to this one...other that just pasting a link....hmm...
