I can't take it!!

My heart wrenches everytime I think about animals getting put down because no one wants to take care of them.

Doesn't that make you feel utterly dreadful???

I received a forwarded email from a friend today about an offer for adoption of a puppy, who is going to be put down because his owners are unable to care for him.

A colleague told me that she used to voluneteer at SPCA and witnessed numerous animals being put down for various reasons (lack of space, unwanted...).

Its inevitable...or is it?

Imagine, new born puppies and kittens...being killed because no one wants to take care of them.

Is it really so difficult to care for a pet?

I don't find it difficult at all.

So I pick up poop and wash pee off my floor everyday, take them for walks, wash their little feet before sleeping on my bed...

Sure there are days when I'd feel worse for wear...but 99.9% of the time, they bring me so much JOY!!

Admittedly, I did not adopt my doggies from the SPCA, I bought them from a shop...but I rescued them nonetheless!!

I'm sure there are animal lovers out there who genuinely love dogs and cats, but still couldn't really be bothered to adopt a pet and change its fate.

I just get so upset.

COME ON PEOPLE!!

CARE MORE!!!

ok, on a lighter note..i walked passed a colleague thumbing-out at our Time Management System Machine as she finished her shift a couple of minutes ago...and after scanning her thumbprint, the machine says "Thank You"...

She replied "Welcome!"
