I LOVE MY DREAMS!
I hardly have nightmares...
Most of my dreams are pleasant..
and I go to bed each night wondering where my dreams will take me.

Last night, I was in the heart of Paris.

Ah, Paris me manque.
(I miss Paris)

I spent a year and a half exploring every nook and cranny of this romantic city.

~ My dream ~

I remember wanting to buy some thongs/slippers/sandals and I was just going to an indoor market/store in a building with some friends.

It was raining at first so we had to rush from my car, parked beside a cafe into the building across the street.

The market was a huge long hallway in an massive old building with stalls selling all kinds of wonderful things. Accessories, antiques, wonderful French cheeses, yarmelicious salami's and all types of cured meats (dies and goes to heaven), fresh fruits and anything else you can think of.

Oh yea and Havaianas thongs! HAHAHAH!! ok so maybe I'm mixing up my countries (i bought my first and only pair of havaianas from Australia), but its my sub-conscious mind doing it!

Anyway, I can't remember whether I bought the thongs or not!

But I remember strolling a couple of blocks after leaving the indoor market, alone.

Passing all of Paris's beautiful old buildings.

Wandering thru the charming city.

I arrived at the Seine and it was just as I had left it 5 years ago.

The stalls selling all kinds of old prints, books and magazines.

I was approaching a souvenir shop

when I remembered that my parking meter was about to run out and my car was a couple of blocks away. So I started walking back to my car to top-up the meter.

As I was heading back, an attractive French guy started following me...of course at first I was pretty apprehensive. He started talking to me, asking me some questions..and we got chatting.

We ended up walking through a park,

where we encountered some people who had caught a snake...and yes, i had a pretty close encounter with the snake too!

As I continued on my way to my car, I realised I had lost my way from the detour at the park.

As the guy was still accompanying me, I asked him whether he knew where the road where I was parked was. I forgot the name of the road, so I described the indoor market for him.

He seemed to know his way...and told me that we could take a short cut, through a theatre.

There must have been some kind of workshop going on, as a group of people were having a tea party. We were offered some tea and cakes. It was funny coz no one seemed to question why who we were and what we were doing there.

I told the guy (I still didn't get his name!) that I really needed to get back to my car before I got a ticket!

We left the tea party and headed back to my car...

As we arrived at my car...I remembered thanking the guy and then....

I woke up.

*smiles*

p.s. I tried to find all the images as I dreamt them.
